We offer specialist long term rehabilitation for Stroke survivors. We work with you to promote physical recovery, as well as prevent and treat the long term complications of a Stroke. This might include improving your Mobility (transfers, walking or using a wheelchair), the functional use of your Upper Limb (arm and hand) or Vocational Rehabilitation to enable you to return to work and your leisure activities. Recovering from a Stroke can be a challenging time, so we provide Stroke education to help you and your loved ones understand how the Stroke has affected you and look at ways of managing these difficulties. We support you to make positive changes to improve your health and reduce the risk of further Strokes, as well as putting you in touch with other professionals, charities and voluntary organisations to make sure you reach the support you and your loved ones need.
